The Monster Hunter Nergigante Dual Blades is one of my favorite projects we've ever built! They are completely made out of EVA foam, foam clay and a few simple PVC pipes. I mostly worked with only a box cutter, a dremel and a soldering iron to sculpt their shapes. For the primer I used flexbond and PlastiDip and painted the prop with airbrush colors, oil paints and acrylics. I made my Monster Hunter Bone Blades out of several layers of cheap 10mm EVA foam, carved and dremeled everything into shape and used Flexbond to smooth out the surface! Guess who finished her massive Bone Dual Blades from Monster Hunter??? So happy how they turned out! This is my third pair of Dual Blades and they are also the largest ones! They are completely made out of EVA foam from Cosplayshop.be and have a PVC core for additional stability. I carved and dremeled them and used then 6 layers layers of Flexbond on top.
